Haflinger Horse

The historic development of the Haflinger horse breed is a success story which could hardly be more perfect: Once a sturdy mountain pony used mainly for carrying and pulling chores, this four legged blond creation has become a fully-fledged world breed, a universal and sought-after family and recreational horse with positive traits such as strength, character, attractive appearance and great endurance.

The Haflinger is today successfully bred and used for a variety of purposes in all continents and in more that 40 nations on Earth. The Haflinger Horse Breeders Association of Tyrol, together with the association-owned stud-farm Fohlenhof Ebbs, is solely responsible for this world-wide spread.
